UPDATE ON COSMO

Our permanent shelter boy survived the night and is now staying with our local vet. We visited him today and this brave puss managed a weak purr of gratitude. Sadly, he still isn't out of danger so won't be coming home tonight.

Please urgently donate for Cosmo whose $2,000 care will take our vet bills over $11,000. Huge thanks for your help!

Tonight gentle Cosmo is on an intravenous drip and fighting for his life as the emergency vet struggles to stabilise his blood glucose levels.

The bills for Cosmo's intensive overnight monitoring and then his recovery at our local vet will be over $2,000. We urgently need your help to meet these costs.

Cosmo is a permanent resident at the shelter due to his heart condition and diabetes. We rescued him from a lethal injection four years ago and he has become a cuddly and beloved pet of Animal Re-homing Charitable Trust and volunteers.

Please donate whatever you can. Many, many thanks in advance.

URGENT: Pet sheep need a safe haven within two weeks

Nine pet ewes are in urgent need of a slaughter-free, breed-free home. They are all related, are Suffolk crossed with Perendale and range from 3-7 years.

They may be adopted in groups - provided one group includes 7-year-old Molly and her 4-year-old lambs Camel and Girl.

Their elderly guardian has to leave the property and is extremely worried about the future of her pets. Collection of the sheep is from Thames and you will need to provide a suitable vehicle for transportation.

Sheep responsibility includes providing shelter and shade from weather, drenching, hoof care and having them shorn for the hot months.

Everyone deserves a loving home

We share the belief of this social worker that there is someone to adopt everyone... if only they could be made aware of the waif in need.

Sometimes we make the same decision she did when 'difficult' babies cannot find that special family.

Vernie is a precious big boy

We were walking this beautiful young dog today and loving his affectionate and enthusiastic attitude to life. Vernie is a precious big boy - a Mastiff X.

Sadly people have an unjustified nervousness of brindle-coloured dogs, so they are often slow to be adopted. If you know anyone who is looking for a wonderful, friendly companion, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
