Bantam Hen & Rooster

This pair will live out their lives on a property in Ruawai.

ORIGINAL ADVERT: BANTAM HEN & ROOSTER MUST STAY TOGETHER WITHOUT BREEDING

Bantam

When I rescued these abandoned chickens from a busy park, the young rooster was hardly more than a skeleton. His breast bone was poking out through his feathers and his little crop was empty. His mate wasn't in much better condition, so I have had them in rehabilitative care.

They are now ready to be placed in a safe haven for the rest of their natural lifespan. To prevent the hatching of more unwanted cockerels, it's essential that the new caregivers are able to keep this pair in a roomy enclosure and run so that eggs may be routinely collected. If you are able to offer them a caring rural home which is safe from dogs and human predators, please contact us.
