I was so happy to transport my beloved Snowy to his home in Ruawai. He is the only rooster among 8 beautiful hens. This was my dream home for this long-suffering boy.

Poor old Snowy was dumped by callous people at a public park where twice I witnessed him in the jaws of two different dogs. With his feathers and skin strewn all over the car park, I was astounded that he survived the second attack. Although his plumage was patchy for several months and his flowing tail feathers were lost each time, thankfully he survived.
I managed to capture Snowy when his hunger took priority over his fear of people. I have treated him for lice, mites and worms and this old man is now ready to live out the remainder of his life in safety. Please let me know if you live rurally and would like to adopt this handsome fellow who has become very dear to my heart.
