This beautiful pair were adopted separately onto rural properties by a friend of SPCA staff.

The two gorgeous roosters pictured below were cruelly abandoned in a suburban neighbourhood in Auckland. Fortunately they escaped traffic injury, dog attacks, poachers and starvation and stumbled into the garden of a kind couple who didn't harm them.
However, due to their crowing and council bylaws, they couldn't adopt them.
It would be preferable if they could be re-homed together as they are bonded...but they can be separated if required. If you are able to offer these boys a safe haven for the rest of their natural lives, please send us an email. We look forward to your earliest reply with thanks.
