Chico is an active young cat who began his life in the ‘care’ of a neglectful family. He is very lucky to have survived the starvation, negligence and manhandling. He is now in great condition, boisterously playful and - once he trusts you - he is very affectionate. One of his favourite pastimes is shredding paper, so you may prefer to lock the office door and hide the shopping list! He enjoys chasing strings and purring and cuddling up on our laps while we are at the work station.
If you can offer two-year-old Chico the most loving of homes, we would be delighted to hear from you. You will need to live on an extremely quiet street or at the end of a very long driveway and, if you have children, your youngest must be at least seven years old. He could happily live with a cat-friendly dog.
When he’s not distracted by play, this lovely boy is initially shy...so his new caregivers must be gentle and patient while he settles in. Chico has been vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and treated for worms and fleas. He is currently living in Auckland.
