ORIGINAL ADVERT - GENTLE QUEENIE HAS BEEN BEREAVED
Queenie is fortunate to have been treasured from her kitten-hood by her caregiver who passed away just before Christmas. This pretty, dark blended 11-year-old Tortishell girl has a beautiful, affectionate nature and loves to snuggle up with the people she has bonded with. Her other favourite pastime is laying in the sunshine.
Because she is a senior cat, a quiet home is preferred, although Queenie is fine around cat-friendly dogs and gentle, older children. She lived with two male cats w
ho have since been adopted together.
Queenie is spayed and is now living alone at her home. Sadly she has no company and is unable to go inside to sleep at night as she did previously. A local resident is feeding her each day, but the house is on the market and the feeder is unable to continue regular visits. Poor Queenie’s world is in turmoil, so a home is sought with sensitive caregivers who will understand if she is afraid for the first few days or weeks.
A family member describes Queenie in this way, “Once she trusts people, she is just such a lovely cat - very affectionate, gentle & cuddly. She deserves a good home with someone to love her and give her some time. She needs someone to look after her and treat her fairly and gently. Someone who wants her and accepts her as she is”.
